We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Petersen Automotive Museum! In addition to bringing an expansive collection of specially curated one of a kind vehicles, The Petersen Museum will host a dinner and live auction Friday November 12th at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca.
Join us after dark for “The Future of Motorsports Dinner,” an evening filled with local cuisine, luxury wine, a live auction and panel discussions where legendary members of the motorsports community will discuss what will commence in forthcoming years. All Proceeds will benefit The Petersen Automotive Museum and tickets are available through our website.
Dinner attendees will also be granted VIP parking for Friday and exclusive access to Laguna Seca’s hospitality pavilion where they can enjoy sweeping views of the Mini vs Mustang endurance race while sipping craft cocktails.
The Petersen Automotive Museum will bring multiple exhibitions of which include the James Hetfield Collection. Best known as co-founder, songwriter, singer, and guitarist for the heavy metal band Metallica, James Hetfield has also gained recognition in the automotive world for his unique collection of entirely bespoke vehicles. The collection includes a vast array of automobiles that Hetfield built from scratch resulting in a diverse compilation of rolling sculptures. At once classic and modern, Hetfield’s vehicles assert both a reverence for history and a disregard for convention, standing collectively as a testament to the musician’s distinctive personality and artistic energy.
Highlights of the exhibit will include the 1934 “Acquarius,” 1953 Buick Skylark “Skycraper,” 1936 Auburn Speedster “Slow Burn,” 1937 Coupe “Crimson Ghost,” 1956 Ford F-100 “Str8 Edge,” 1948 Jaguar “Black Pearl,” 1937 Lincoln Zephyr “Voodoo Priest” and 1963 Lincoln Continental “Dead Kennedy”.
