From the team who brought you the Sonoma Speed Festival, we are very pleased to announce the all new Velocity Invitational! Set on the breathtaking Monterey Peninsula, the event will take place at the historic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas, CA from November 11-14, 2021.
Get ready for a weekend packed with wheel-to-wheel historic racing, wine tasting, gourmet food, specially curated car exhibitions, luxurious amenities and so much more! Velocity Invitational is a family friendly event with a wide range of activities for all ages, so we grant free entry to children 15 years old and under when accompanied by an adult guardian. In addition, in honor of Veterans Day, we are offering free General Admission entry Friday, Nov 12th for all current and former Military personnel- just be sure to bring a valid Military ID as it will be checked upon entry.
Exclusive to our event, we have partnered with McLaren Racing to bring a special exhibition of historic McLaren Formula 1 race cars on track. Be prepared to feel the velocity as you watch Mika Häkkinen slide through the historic turns of Laguna Seca in the same 1998 MP4/13A chassis number 02, 760hp V10-powered Formula 1 car that he drove to victory at the Australian Grand Prix. Or maybe you could be one of the few lucky passengers to strap in and experience the 1998 MP4/98T two-seat Formula 1 demonstration car on a thrilling ride around the circuit?
